Sam called from the bus saying that she fell down as she was running to catch the bus. She did not mention that she couldn't walk. After she got to school, she realized how bad off she was and was carried by her boyfriend to the nurse where she called me again. So, I dragged my extremely drugged butt out of bed (I have bronchitis, a sinus and ear infections) and took off to the high school and then to the ER for X-rays. As it turns out, it is just sprained, but still painful. I was feeling so sick at the ER that I almost crawled onto the hospital bed with her to lay down. I was sorely tempted to do it! But, I am a mom and mom's don't lay down on the job!
Cool-looking blog! I think Sam just wanted to be carried by her boyfriend... I remember being 16. Ü I am sorry you had to get out of bed... hopefully you can rest all day and be rested, bright and cheery in time for the party tonight...

ReplyDeleteShe probably did just want to get carried by her boyfriend. :D She does have a bunch of road rash on her foot and knee and swelling on the foot. So - I do think the injury is legit.
ReplyDeleteI should be rested before the party - which is actually Sat. My medicine fogged brain can't remember details anymore.
I finally feel half-human this afternoon so maybe the antibiotics are working now.

I am trying to learn how to create complete templates in my classes.
