Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses.
(I'm a little nervous about posting this one.)

Hmmm.... I just remember you talking about your old job and thinking how good you were with computers. :)
ReplyDeletelol... Ill play....
ReplyDeleteI remember (heehee) when we spoke about RSVPing on the calendar for field trips. ;0)
I hope you guys had fun today!!
I have MANY memories of you, but one of the ones I really appreciate is when I was first married and Don said he wanted to go over to Mike's and hang out. He got his RC buggy and they were going to play with it in your backyard. I was concerned I would be uncomfortable since they were going to be by themselves and it would just be you and I. I remember telling Don I was a little worried because you and I may not have anything to talk about with you being a little older, having 1-3/4 kids, and so much more experienced in life.
ReplyDeleteYou made me feel so comfortable and we talked nonstop... that was the beginning a great friendship! Fourteen years later we definitely don't have the problem of not having anything to talk about! Ü
Okay I have many memories. One being when you stuck Ryan in the dryer! I think he still has phobia's of the dryer. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember you being pregnant with Samantha and I stayed at your house overnight and thought that was the coolest thing because I stayed at my big sisters house and she was married!
I remember living with you for a short time in high school, what a challenge that had to be taking on a senior with three little kids. I was a handful of a teen not knowing what I was doing in my life so thank you.
Love ya!
I remeber sitting at Enrichment and a group of us at the table we were sitting at were talking about all kinds of stuff. The conversation finally turned to last names & how much some of us loved being rid of our maiden names...and that's when we realized who each of us were talking to...ha ha, neighbors from childhood...ok old babysitters?
ReplyDeleteI just remember recognizing you as being easy to talk to! so great!
ReplyDeleteRemember that one time we stayed up late laughing and talking and eating snack food from the vending machine? Oh yeah, that was last night! What fun we have after store hours, huh?
ReplyDeleteHey, we sure miss you guys. I remember talking on the phone for over an hour and realizing how much we think alike. Also, hanging out at Lindbloms eating pizza and talking while the guys were at father and son's.
ReplyDeleteI remember being on the phone with Ryan and I could hear your new home teachers in the background talking to you. I remember because one of them was so obviously smitten with you and was flirting. I told Ryan that he was going to marry you and he laughed...But I was right, how long have you and your old home teacher been married now? :-) When I think of you it is often how much you have changed for the better over the years, getting your education, teaching your kids, and just loving everyone around you. That is mine, here is Ryans- I remember when I was ten or eleven and a group of seventeen year old boys were chasing me saying they were going to beat me up so I ran to the church building and told you. You were so protective that you took the boys from mutual in the datson/sports car and went to confront them and told them to leave me alone. I still use that defense to this day (haha) I tell all the bullies I will get my big sister to kick your butt if you don't leave me alone!! Thanks sis! Love ya, Ryan
ReplyDeleteWell Ryan - I'm glad that your memory was not about sticking you in the dryer to threaten you to behave. LOL - I don't remember about that incident with the bullies. I'm sure all 115 lbs.(back then) of me REALLY scared them. I remember that orange Datsun though!
