The Tuesday That Felt Like A Monday

Today really should have been a Monday. Everything seemed to go wrong.
  1. I was late getting up.
  2. I left in sweat pants with no makeup and found out everyone else was wearing nice clothes and they looked cute.
  3. My bad back is really bothering me since Sunday.
  4. My teenage kids were acting like 2 year olds today.
  5. My husband got another major rejection letter after what he felt was a promising interview.
  6. I have to work again tonight.
  7. We had hotdogs for dinner (which my husband hates).
Should I whine some more? No - I need to spare everyone. The funny thing is that I just finished giving my husband a pep talk...I just have to laugh at myself a little here! I am always trying to uplift others yet I wish I could cry on someone's shoulder for a change. So, you are my shoulder if you are reading this. By the way - Thanks!

  1. First of all, I LOVE the above quotes...I'm a quote girl so thanks for sharing. Second of all, you've had a rough year and you don't need to ever feel like you are whining with us. It's not easy to be everybody's rock all the time so let 'er rip! We are listening to every word and praying things will get easier. Hope your back feels better soon. Hang in there, you'll make it.

  4. It's nice to know we aren't alone!! Today is a new day and hopefully a little sunnier for you. It was a bad day for A LOT of people yesterday. Seriously. Last night Don and I were talking with my sister and all of us had a black cloud over us throughout the day, as did their coworkers. Personally, I think it is because O. is in town... But I can't call it a black cloud... it wouldn't be politically correct (as Don reminded me last night). Hope your back gets to feeling better soon! Love you guys!

  5. Thank you everyone. I'm really just trying to get back to the positive side of things again.

I guess by "O" you mean Obama. Was he in town? I didn't know. I really can't stand him. He has already done some pretty bad things for our country and he just got into office!

  6. Yes, I meant Obama. I agree with you... all we keep saying is we need to take care of our own family and follow what the leaders of the church have been saying and hopefully we don't have to be too affected by his decisions. I cannot believe how some people are worshiping him and depending on him to bail them out. One lady on the radio even called and said she hoped he would just "push a reset button" because her foreclosure and bankruptcy looked bad on her credit report.... HELLO?! No one wants to be accountable or receive consequences anymore. I could go on and on... ugh!

  7. Well I think everyone has a bad day. There are plenty of times that I just feel like growling all day! ~;o) Just remember that things will work out. It might take awhile and you might start to wonder when your break will come, but it will happen!

Yea! We're back up!

On Sunday morning my email account was hit by something and I couldn't access it. Then my blog disappeared completely to which I almost ...
