I have had the last couple of days off from work....yippee! I really needed the rest and relaxation of not going to work. My family allowed me to sleep in - ear plugs really help with that - and they did a large part of the housework for me. I'm back to work today while the family goes to a family party without me. :-(
We hardly had anything on the calendar the last couple days and that added greatly to my happiness! No running around for appointments. The kids did not have ANY events to attend (when does that ever happen?). I was able to stay in my PJ's for a long time on Thursday and Friday, which is always a winner to me.
We are waiting to hear back on a job for Mike. We are very hopeful it will come through. It is not the perfect job, but we need something. After two months, we need Mike to have something soon! My job has told me I can transfer to the store in Flagstaff if we get the job there. I've been busy looking into renting a house in Flagstaff and renting our home here. IF he gets the job, I have a lot of work to do to get everything settled. Mike keeps telling me not to worry about anything until it happens - that is not easy to do! I am planner, and I need to plan for all possibilities even if they don't happen. It is part of my nature!
I do not have a school post this week - even though we did get a lot done - I'm just taking a break from so much online stuff right now.
I really hope he gets it! We will miss you though but he'll have a job right! :) I would plan too it helps you be prepared just in case then you don't have to stress as much because most of it is done :)
ReplyDeleteI pray that something comes along soon for Mike. I am not as much of a planner as I should be but notice as the kids get older I do a little more. :) Mommy thing I guess
ReplyDeleteMe too! I need a weekend off and plan to do just that! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCeleste, I'm SO glad you got a weekend off!! You deserve it, you are so great for working hard and doing whatever it takes to make it right now. I will pray for you guys that Mike gets that job and your planning won't be a waist. :) Take care of yourself.
