Baking Soda and Vinegar Rinse Recipe #2
Eggs Recipe - I do not want to waste eggs on my hair, but I have heard it is a good conditioner.
I thought this post was interesting called "To Poo or Not to Poo...that is the Question."
Personally, I am not a "go green" kind of girl who thinks everything will kill us. However, I am conscious that things I put on or in my body do effect how I feel. Nayna and I have been dealing with Fibromyalgia Syndrome our entire lives. When I went back to coloring my hair I felt fine at first, but now coloring my hair is making me sick again. I thought that changing types of hair color (semi-permanent and natural hair colors) would do the trick. But, here I am a year later and my bones and joints ache like crazy. I can hardly function some days. I'm still researching ways to color my hair like the Egyptians did.
You are officially AWESOME! Have you ever heard of using a little baby powder in your hair, to absorb some of the oil and extend your hair washings? I have tried it on occasion and I think it works okay, to extend your hair washing for a day. But, it does make your hair really staticky! (Is that a word?? :0) ) My mom used to use vinegar as a cream rinse or conditioner, when she was a little girl. I have tried that before and it works pretty well!
ReplyDeleteI did notice with the vinegar rinse that my hair is nice, thick and tangle free! I usually have really tangly hair with lots of knots...not anymore.
ReplyDeleteI will say one thing, I have to make sure I get the baking soda solution everywhere on my scalp or I end up with a "greasy looking spot". I bought a hair coloring bottle from Sally's Beauty and that has worked well.
Great idea! :0)
