2009 - Week 1 - This Week in Homeschooling

Rather than post hit-or-miss homeschooling posts, I decided it might be better if I post once a week at the end of the week and just include the subjects we focused on.

  • Literature Focus - Legends Unit - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Book Club meeting

  • P.E. - Rollerblading & scooter riding at park day, Wii Tennis and Bowling

  1. I'm so glad you are posting about what you are doing for school. I love getting ideas! What Math program do you use? I love that we aren't the only TJed family "corrupted" with a Wii. : )

  2. OK - I messed up and this posted before I was done typing it up.

    Additional stuff this week:

    Spelling - docile, destitution
    Marly - Samuri Girl series - I think she is on book four.
    Chris - He researched Linux forums and installed a new program that runs windows programs and CD's on his Linux computer in his room.
    Mom - Reading Pride and Prejudice.

    Idaho Sutters - Yep, we are corrupted by Wii. We love it and think it is a very family friendly video game system.
